| Avoid Stimulants |
 |
 |
When a stressful day gets too much or
when you're suffering from lack of sleep, avoid reaching for stimulants
such as tea, coffee, cigarettes, chocolate and alcohol. The 'stimulant
trap' can result in quick unsustained bursts of energy - leading to a
short term increase, but can make you feel worse in the long run.

- Try replacing caffeinated drinks with herbal teas or fruit
juice and instead of chocolate, keep some fresh and dried
fruit handy. If you can do this for just one week you will
notice a difference in the way you feel! Also up your water
intake.
